PREVIOUS EDITIONS

Since its inception, the IEEE/ACM International Conference on Big Data Computing, Applications, and Technologies (BDCAT) has established itself as a premier global forum for researchers and practitioners dedicated to advancing the frontiers of data-driven intelligence. As cloud infrastructure matured in the early 2010s, the explosion of data naturally followed. Recognizing the critical need for a dedicated venue to address the unique computing, architectural, and application challenges of massive datasets, BDCAT was officially launched in 2014 in London, UK. From its very first edition, the conference has been a catalyst for cross-disciplinary collaboration, bridging the gap between academic research and industry application.

Over the past decade, BDCAT has traveled across the globe, bringing together diverse communities in Europe, Asia, North America, Oceania, and the Middle East. By continuously moving to leading technological hubs, BDCAT has fostered regional ecosystems while maintaining a strong, globally interconnected network of big data experts.
